Forsaken Release Date and Update History

Two dates, both real, and the gap between them explains most of the disagreement online. If someone tells you Forsaken is from 2024 they are right either way; if they tell you it is finished, the game's own description disagrees.

Timeline

Chapters, not seasons

Forsaken organises its content into Chapters rather than battle-pass seasons. Two Chapters have finished and Chapter 3 is ongoing, which is the frame the developers themselves use when they group updates. A "chapter" here is a run of numbered patches with a shared theme, not a time-boxed window you can miss.

What shipped most recently

Update 5.0.0 added Azure at 2,000 Player Points, made c00lkidd free on first play, introduced an in-round sticker system for players who cannot use chat, added an LMS screen and reworked the lobby. Patch 5.0.1 followed with map balance work and a long list of Azure-specific bug fixes. A Summer Games event trailer went live on 26 August 2026 and the experience's last-updated stamp moved the following day; the event's contents were not documented on the wiki at the time we pulled this page, so we have not written them up rather than guess.
